On the temple grounds are the Los Angeles California Temple, the Visitors’ Center, the FamilySearch Center, and the Distribution Center. Please feel free to contact the location that best fits your visit or question.

Visitors' Center

Los Angeles California Temple Visitors' Center at Dusk

The Visitors’ Center is a peaceful place open to the public where guests can learn more about the temple, families, and the Savior Jesus Christ. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Missionaries are available to help answer questions and welcome visitors. The Visitors’ Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

FamilySearch Center

The FamilySearch Center helps individuals and families discover their ancestors through records, family trees, and one-on-one assistance. It is open to the public and offers access to family history resources and expert help.
The center is located behind the Los Angeles Temple Visitors’ Center on the east side in the basement. Parking is free.

Los Angeles Distribution Center

The distribution center is located on site and offers temple garments and temple clothing. It is a convenient stop for those visiting the temple grounds.

Because store hours may vary, it is best to call ahead to confirm current hours before visiting.

Visitors' Center

The Los Angeles California Temple is a sacred house of the Lord for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a place of worship and covenant devotion.

Reservations are available, and walk-ins are welcome. For additional help, accessibility needs, or special circumstances, guests are encouraged to contact the temple directly.
